Welcome to the Weirdness!

Hello! I'm a 19 year old American writer who decided to make my own website to document the progress of different stories/writing works I'm in the process of making/fleshing out. I've been working on some of these stories since I was 13 years old and they've come a very long way.

I have one main story I'm currently focusing on, but I have plenty of short stories and fanfictions for already established works I also plan to post/publish here. You can read more indepth about each story/work on their respective pages (see left sidebar on PC, top purple bar on mobile format). Each page is styled in the general aesthetic/theme of the story. The other two tabs are for more personal posts outside of the two main stories. The "Fandom" tab is a place where I will publish fanart, headcannons and mini fanfictions for fandoms I'm in. The "My Blabbering" tab is mostly just for writing about my life and letting you get to know me day by day.

The general plot rundown for "The Mask We Wear" is about a socially awkward girl named JJ who accidentally creates a fanpage for a killer committing gruesome, yet clinical murders in her small hick town. Her accidental fanpage ends up getting the attention of a young man named Henry, however his admiration for the page goes far beyond an appreciation of local true crime reporting. JJ's never had someone been so obsessed and appreciative of her writing... Or her in general. The two quickly realize that they have more in common they either wants to admit, and that the line between "good" and "evil" actions isn't as clear as they thought.

Disclaimers:

I feel I should mention that some of these works can get quite bloody and gorey at times. The main two stories are both surrounding murder and violence. I do not condone or idolize these behaviors in the real world. Crimes in these fictional works might be based off or ispired by real events but they are still purely fictional in nature.

I will also disclose that as someone who doesn't like sexual content in media I will not be including it in my own works. So that means if you were hoping for sexual content in regards to the "romance" tags of these works you'll have to look elsewhere. That being said I don't mind if one day when these works have their own fandoms if some of y'all choose to write your own sexually based fanfictions of the characters, so long as credit is given to me for creating the characters/storylore.

I would also like to apologize in advance for any long waits between posts/updates on here. I'm a college student so obviously school is my main focus. This is just a little hobby project of mine so I'll only be on here when I have time to be. If there's a major issue/drama feel free to DM me on the linked social media accounts I provided. I'm most likely to respond on Instagram.

Name, Age, Where I'm From:

I am an 18 year old girl from the United States, my username is PixelGutz on social media, but you can call me April if the username is too much of a mouthful.

The Story About My Name:

April is not my actual name. I didn't want to publish my actual name online so I decided to pick a different name to go by online in order to keep my classmates from finding this page/my works. I picked the name April after the name of my Star Stable Online character. Fun fact, you can actually friend me on SSO! My character's name is April Shywall on the Night Sprinkles server, level 19 and climbing to 20. I'm occasionally active on there so feel free to shoot a friend request or mail to my SSO character! The username "PixelGutz" was mostly chosen to try and be cool and edgy. "Pixel" because of the internet and coding, "Gutz" because I like human anatomy and also because my writing can get gorey at times so it felt relevant. I spelt it with a "Z" because that's cool and edgy.

Fandoms I'm In:

As you might have seen or clicked on, there is a fandom tab on my webpage for me to post stuff non-related to my own works. I'm a fan of a few different franchises, which are listed below. I'm a longtime player of Minecraft, Minecraft Story Mode, Star Stable, Wizard101, and The Sims. More recently I've gotten in the Class of 09 franchise and I've been following the development of W1WD, as well as getting semi-back into Danganronopa. I used to be really into anime, but nowadays I'm really only keeping up with Demon Slayer and Chainsaw Man. I also really like Arcane but I'm not a fan of the actual League of Legends game. Oh, who can forget CreepyPasta/The Slenderverse, which I'm also a huge fan of. In general I hope to create a space of fandom culture revival on my page. Fandom culture, especially the more "cringe" and "goofy" part of it is low-key very, very dead so I'm hoping to recreate that vibe on the Fandom page. Also if my works get popular and fandom creations are made for them they'll also get shout-outs on the Fandom page.

Hobbies!

As you may or may not have guessed, I have a lot of internet/computer based hobbies, including playing videogames and writing. However, I'm not totally chronically online. I like reading, especially fantasy. My favorites are currently All of Us Villians, Night of the Witch and Fate of Magic. I also draw, though not very often these days. When I'm not doing the most nerdy hobbies in exsistance I like to bake and cook and occasionally go on walks if the weather is nice. I'm also a sucker for trash reality TV shows like My 600 Pound Life, Honey BooBoo/Mama June and basically any of the junk TLC puts out. I also love watching reactions to these trash shows on YouTube. I also like to listen to True Crime videos on YouTube. I love Eleanor Neale, Dire Trip and Coffeehouse Crime. I was alternating between the three to listen to while working/coding this webpage.
